Championship Categories & Registration
Four categories, one flat fee per team of 1–5 students. Pick your event and register your college team.
Fastest Line Follower
A pure time-trial class — the same black line, but only the clock matters. Optimise sensors, torque and code for outright speed.
Robo War / Sumo Bot
Armoured machines meet in the ring — push, flip or disable your opponent. The last robot moving takes the round.
Coding Hackathon
Ship a working build under time pressure. Judges score the solution, the code and how well the team defends its choices.
Innovation Challenge
Bring original hardware that answers a real problem, then defend it in front of an industry panel.

Championship FAQs
Everything colleges ask before entering a team for the Senior World Cup 2027 national championship.
Who can enter?
College students, in teams of 1–5. A single student may enter as a team of one, and a college can send more than one team. Teams from any city in India are eligible — zonal qualifiers run city-wise.
When and where is the national final?
The national final runs as two competitions in the first week of January 2027 — one at E-Cell, IIT Delhi and one in Chennai. You pick your preferred venue when you register.
How much does it cost?
A flat ₹2,999 per team, whether you enter one student or five. Payment is taken after you submit the registration form.
Which categories can we enter?
Four: Fastest Line Follower, Robo War / Sumo Bot, Coding Hackathon and Innovation Challenge. Pick one category per team when registering.
What if we miss our zonal round?
Apply for a Wild Card. You sit a Screening Assessment instead, and teams that clear it are placed directly into the national final.
What do participants receive?
Every participant receives a certificate, and category winners are recognised on the national podium.
