TechRadiance Innovation Challenge 2026-27

Empowering Young Minds to Innovate for a Sustainable Future, EV & renewable energy

Objective:

To encourage students to ideate, innovate, and present sustainable technology solutions, with a special focus on Electric Vehicles (EV) and green technology.

Eligibility:

• Open to students from schools, colleges, and universities across India.
• Individual or team participation (up to 5 members per team).

1. Registration & Submission (Preliminary Round)

• Timeline: Registrations are open. Dates for the 2026-27 edition will be announced soon.
• Process:
  • Participants must register online and email their project idea and detailed report to contact@techradiance.in.
  • Submissions should include:
    • Problem statement.
    • Proposed solution and innovation.
    • Technical details (if applicable).
    • Alignment with sustainability.
    • Optional: Prototype demo (video).

2. Online Project Presentation (date to be announced)

• Format:
  • Shortlisted teams will present their projects online to a panel of judges.
  • Time allotted: 5 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A.
• Criteria for Selection:
  • Innovation and creativity.
  • Feasibility and scalability of the idea.
  • Sustainability impact.
  • Bonus points for EV-related projects.

3. Grand Finale – National Final, January 2027 (Delhi at E-Cell IIT Delhi, or Chennai)

Day 1: Project Presentation Round

• Each team presents their refined project to the jury.
• Focus on:
  • Technical execution.
  • Real-world applicability.
  • Presentation quality.

Day 2: On-the-Spot Challenge

• Teams will receive a surprise task based on sustainability (aligned with their project’s concept).
• They will need to brainstorm, innovate, and present a working concept or prototype within the day.

Judging Criteria:

• Innovation (30%): Originality and uniqueness of the idea.
• Sustainability Impact (25%): Contribution to environmental or societal sustainability.
• Technical Feasibility (20%): Practicality and execution of the solution.
• Presentation Skills (15%): Clarity and effectiveness of communication.
• EV Bonus (10%): Additional points for integrating Electric Vehicle-related solutions.

Key Highlights:

500+ students to participate in the INNOVATION Challenge.
All participants will get a Certificate of Participation from Techradiance in association with E-Cell IIT Delhi.

Worth INR 100,000 to be awarded to winning teams.

Topics Acceptable:

Electric Vehicle, Solar & Smart Energy Systems, Robotics, IoT, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Web or Android Applications, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, Big Data, Cryptography, or any other relevant field – we welcome your ingenuity. Prepare yourself to join the League of Innovations by aligning your projects with the evolving demands of various sectors.

College students, school students, start-ups, and individual participants with entrepreneurial ideas are equally invited to join us. Display your creative concepts and increase your chances of global acknowledgment on the largest innovation platform.

Eligibility Criteria:

Closed Rounds: Participants who secured positions from 1st to 3rd and hold Merit Certificates in the Zonal Rounds of the Techradiance Championships across India are eligible for registration in the Closed Rounds of the Techradiance Final Round.

Open Rounds: Participants with participation certificates from the Zonal Rounds are eligible to compete in the Open Rounds and all enthusiasts and interested individuals are encouraged to register for the Open Round, regardless of prior participation.

Entry Fees (For Techradiance Zonal Winners):

For Indian Residents: INR 300/- (Inclusive GST) per student.
For Non-India Residents: USD 30 per student.

Registration Fees for Open Round:

For Indian residents: INR 550/- (Inclusive GST) per student.
For non-India residents: USD 40 per student.

Guidelines

1. Bring all necessary materials or equipment (laptop, chargers, cables, hardware etc) as per competition needs, Techradiance will not be responsible for providing competition material. In case any component from your robotics kit is not functioning, it can be purchased from spare component desk (subject to stock availability)
2. The Participating team should consist of 1-5 members, team size should not increase by more than 5 members & register the team for the specified competition online on the official Techradiance website.
3. Participating team should have their prototype of project.
4. Participants from schools/institutions should form a team.
5. Participants can be from different Batches, Institutes, Branches, or Years.
6. Prepare a video of 1 minute to 5 minutes (maximum 100MB), showcasing team readiness, creativity, preparing for challenges, or anything to show passion to participate in TechRadiance National Championship.
7. Share the video either by email at contact@techradiance.in (via Google drive or V transfer) or via WhatsApp at +91-7015568312 mentioning your team’s name and school/Institute name. All videos will be uploaded on Techradiance YouTube channel. The top 10 Maximum views will have special recognition at the tournament.
   Note: Uploading your video to your school’s social media page and tagging Techradiance can enhance its visibility and engagement, potentially increasing your chances of receiving awards.
